More About the Jefferson-Scranton High School Student Council
The Student Council of Jefferson-Scranton High School is devoted to its fellow students, teachers, and community. Over the years, the JSHS Student Council hasn't won all of its Honor Council With Meritorious Distinction awards for nothing - we are constantly looking in everyone's best interests in an attempt to make our school a better place. Whether it be goals or projects, we as the JSHS Student Council are always here to help.
Main Goals for 2007-2008
The main goals of the JSHS Student Council during the 2007-2008 school year are:
1. To increase communication between the peers and staff.
2. To provide a smooth transition for East Greene and Paton Churdan students.
3. To attempt to give back to the community.
Main Projects for 2007-2008
The main projects of the JSHS Student Council during the 2007-2008 school year are:
1. The food drive.
2. The state project (fighting poverty).
3. The blood drive.
